Medically Supervised Weight Loss

Weight loss supervised by a physician, with a clinical assessment and a plan built to last, not for quick and unsustainable results.

Why with medical supervision

Excess weight has drivers that go far beyond willpower: metabolic and hormonal factors, current medication, sleep patterns and your relationship with food.

The clinical assessment identifies what is at play in each case, including conditions that must be ruled out before any plan, such as thyroid disorders, insulin resistance or dyslipidaemia.

How the follow up works

It starts with an assessment consultation: medical history, medication, blood tests when indicated, and a conversation about habits and realistic goals.

From there, we define an individual plan, with regular follow up appointments to adjust whatever is not working. The follow up is what makes the difference between losing weight and keeping it off.

A note on expectations

Very rapid weight loss is usually followed by an equally rapid regain, and it costs muscle mass. What we aim for is gradual, sustained loss, together with better health markers.

We do not work with promised numbers or guaranteed deadlines. We work with your specific case.

Frequently asked questions

Is medication involved?

That depends entirely on the clinical assessment. Weight loss medication has its own indications, contraindications and side effects, and only makes sense when clinically justified and supervised. It is not the default starting point.

Do you also offer body treatments?

They can complement the follow up, but they do not replace weight loss or habits. They are a complement, and we present them as such.

How often are the appointments?

The frequency is set case by case, usually monthly in the initial phase and less often once goals stabilise.
